This 2-day/16-hour course is designed for Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Dispatch/Communications, Detention/Corrections, Fire, EMS, and other Government Agencies who conduct employment background investigations for safety sensitive positions.

Training is accredited through the NMLEA

Course Focus:
Participants learn about the critical aspects and due diligence for conducting a thorough and reasonable background investigation on candidates before they are hired to reduce future liability. Includes State Criminal Records Expungement & Civil Rights Relief Act Implications for applicant backgrounds. 

Participants engage in discussion, Q&A, case studies, practical exercises, review case of statutory and case laws throughout the training course.
