This 2.5-day/20-hour course is designed for Law Enforcement and Public Safety Agencies, Dispatch/Communications Centers, Detention/Corrections Departments, and other Government Personnel assigned to oversee, assess, develop, revise, administer, or audit policies and procedures within an organization.

Training is accredited through the NMLEA

Course Focus:
Participants are guided through the process of assessing departmental policies to identify risks, strategies to research current laws, practices, and professional standards, and craft policy language to reduce liability.

Participants engage in discussion, Q&A, class exercises, work through case examples, and complete policy research exercises. Participants receive a comprehensive training manual and digital resources.
